DIY project... Jewelry clutch

So, here's the reason why I haven't posted anything in a couple of days. Yesterday I went out to buy some fabric, but I found these awesome black piece of fabric in my grandma's house, and my mum fixed the sewing machine. I've spent about a day and a half sewing beads, jewelry, and more beads.

I didn't do a tutorial because I really thought this would be a totally mess. My mum had to help me (I used to sew, but not things with the machine) and she also had to sew the zipper, but I'll learn to do it by myself soon :)

Today, I'm going to talk to you about a cool trend for this upcoming Winter Season: the varsity style.

Varsity comes from University, and I'm sure this style will make you remember movies like ''Back to the Future'' or ''Grease''. It's been a trend which has being coming and leaving season to season, but it seems this year is here to stay. It doesn't mind if you're a guy or girl, the varsity jacket is the perfect garment to go to school, hang out with your friends on a cold afternoon or to go for excursions.

There are lots of cheap options if you want to get that geeky-cool perfect outfit. This season stores and brands like Bershka, Pull&Bear, TopShop and ASOS have lots of great jacket stuff. I've seen some going shopping anywhere, so I'm sure you'll find easily your perfect one. There are in tons of colours, styles, shapes...

Stars and stripes... My mysterious DIY

Today has been the funniest day of my life with my beloved friend The Trend Tracker, who didn't finally kill me (I thought she wouldn't like the ''copy'' of her DIY shorts).

So, this is my last ''invention'' and DIY creation: the stars and stripes shorts. I really liked the Topshop ones but, I realized too late they where from there, so, I couldn't find them anywhere.

Ana and I have gone to the beach and also to the rocks on the little town I've been staying (I'm leaving tomorrow, because on Friday I'm going to the basketball match) and we've taken tons of pictures, and we've been having lots of fun.

Getting very tanned

Do you remember this last post where I told you I may not be able to write until Friday?

So, I was wrong. We finally could find some wireless connection, and I've been posting some outfits on LB.nu between some crafts and mornings in the beach. I thought you deserved to know something about me too. I've finally finished the mysterious DIY project I talked to you about. You'll know tomorrow what's it, and after tomorrow, you'll see the tutorial. I'm sure my friend The Trend Tracker will kill me (¡lo siento, Ana!).

Anyway. My uncle and my aunt are here with me and my grandparents, so they were around when I made the craft, and also, they're going to help me with another one I'm thinking about. You'll see, patience!! ;)

So, by now, yesterday we made an improvised photoshoot on the terrace, and we took lots of pictures. Here are the heels you saw on the last post, and also, my crochet hat.

That's the new hat I bought yesterday, in ''Ale-hop'', with my friend Maria. I saw the same at the airport, going to Mallorca a week ago, but I didn't buy it because I couldn't carry it with me on the flight (and my package was going to explode) so, you can't imagine my face when I saw it yesterday. I don't usually wear hats, but these one with crochet, let my without words.

I'm leaving this evening to the beach town again with my family, to spend there the whole week. I want to chill out, get tanned, write and take pictures at the beach. I'll be here on Friday to go to the basketball game :)

I'll show you some items I'm going to carry with me there. Have I talked to you about the heels I bought in Boston? Also, my blue shorts, which I'm going to made the next DIY tutorial with!

Mallorca's last outfit

This is the last outfit I worn on my trip to Mallorca. We went to the ''Bellver Castle'' and I didn't know I had to walk, so, imagine with that heels!! Then, I changed them when we returned into the car for a more comfy flats.

Tomorrow I'm leaving to the beach house with my family. I think I'll spend there all the week, and maybe conecting to the Internet won't be possible, so I'll be here on Friday (Spanish Basketball Team is playing on my city then, and I'm going to see the game, yay!). Don't worry, because I'm preparing an AWESOME DIY tutorial to show you guys, step by step. Uhuhu, surprise!!

I'm also going to take lots of pictures of my outfits, which you'll see very soon too. The beach apartment is perfect for that, because we have a huge terrace with views to the sea and the beach promenade, so it's easy to put the camera in a tripod and take some snaps.

This time was my DIY lace shorts tutorial, on the blog ''Chic-Steals'', where I sent an e-mail asking for the featured. I really thought it was going to be difficult or maybe impossible, because Carly, the blogger, features every week lots of projects, and I thought no one was interested on mine!!

I'm home! - Part II

I've already been on home two days. All my lugagge is unpacked, and I'm still waiting for the things I sent by postal service. I've also being reorganising my closet, because I've bought some items and it's all messy: it feels like the poor little wardrobe is going to explode.

So, I've been thinking about seeling some clothes and stuff I have. I haven't found any place where I could sell them (do you remember this post? Now you might now that in my city is very difficult to find thirft and second hand stores) and the ones I've found, they don't buy clothes, or they aren't accepting them by the moment.

Right now, I've been posting some ads on secondhand websites and things like eBay, but I'm not sure people would buy my clothes, although they're in perfect conditions. I've been thinking about posting them here on the blog, so people can see them much easier and contact me too :)

What do you think about the idea?? Would you buy something? By now, I let you see the rest of pictures I took on Mallorca.

Second hand... Yay or nay?

Today I'm here to talk about second hand, thrift and vintage stores, where you can find lots of items and stuff much cheaper but previously owned.

I personally have my own ''story'' with these shops and stores. I discovered them about a year ago, in a summer trip to England, but I only looked weirdly at their windows, thinking things like: ''Oh my God, I would NEVER wear something pre-owned''.

Silly me. I knew perfectly this kind of stores where very appreciated in all Europe and also USA, but maybe in Spain we have more ''prejudices'' about these kind of things, and it looks like people doesn't understand you if you wear something that has belonged to someone else. Maybe it's because when we think about ''second hand'' or ''thrift stores'' the image of a dirty, dark and old place, with lots of clothes and stuff pilled up on the floor comes to our mind. I think now I can understand why we don't have many of these stores here.

Today, I'm gonna talk to you about a blogger who has just started her blog a few time ago, just like me. Her name's Ellen, and she's from New Zealand.

Her blog, ''Shop, Style and Conquer'' talks about fashion, but that's not all, because she also writes about D.I.Y and sewing projects, she shows her outfits and daily routine, and also tips about how to wear those or that items like for example, Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf.

I'm home! - Part I

I'm sorry I couldn't post anything before, but, since I came back from Boston, everything went crazy. A week ago I travelled to Palma de Mallorca, and island near Valencia in the Mediterranian Sea, to spend there a ''familiar holiday week''.

Now I'm back home, with lots of new pictures on my camera, and a much more tanned skin.

Personally, going to Palma de Mallorca (a not-very-big city where young people usually goes partying with their friends or only to the beach) with my parents, wasn't my ''life's illusion'', so, I've spent the all trip with my headphones, playing with my cell phone and taking pictures.

I have also gone shopping (between excursion and excursion), but I didn't buy so many things, just some interesting items I found on a second hand store (yay!! I didn't think they existed here on Spain), a timer for my camera, and a pair of winter heels. I'll show all these soon, because we had to sent them by postal service. The space in our luggage was so limited that we had to put just the imprescindible things on them, and send the rest back to Valencia!! So, here are some shots, I'll show you more (and also outfits) in the next posts!!

Hi! So, it's been very difficult for me posting something here, because I'm still in the town beach house, and here there's no Internet. I have my Orange Internet Everywhere but its charge ended yesterday, so, my dad had to put another charge on it, but we aren't sure how long it's going to work.
