Rarities found on vintage markets. A couple of days ago taking advantage of a class day off I left my blankets and cozy pajamas to go out on a really sunny day, and decided to do some vintage route around downtown. It's incredible how vintage temporary markets and some unique stuff stores have arisen lately on Valencia. I love to visit them whenever I can, because they receive new things often, and is a very good opportunity to meet people and new brands, besides getting good quality clothing at very good prices.
I had to take some pictures around, so I went through ''Place Valencia'' which is like a space full of temporary stands with vintage stores, emerging designers... Really similar to a flea market, where they host once or twice a month different fashion events. The truth is that I was looking for nothing in particular that day. Looks like I've lost all my shopping skills since I don't go out of my room very much lately. Anyway I started looking at the racks, and then found this piece which really surprised me: a yellow pleated skirt signed by Loewe.
Pretty weird. As far as I know, Loewe has been years designing handbags, leather accessories and some leather clothing like jackets or coats. I've been doing some research, and this skirt must be really old and uncommon. At least on its website, they don't have available women's clothing (maybe they were more accesible to public a long time ago). What I've seen similar to this has only been on runways, so the story of how this skirt has reached me it's pure intrigue. Little things that happen when you buy vintage... You'll be the first to know about if I discover something new!

The fun thing about this outfit is how it ended looking like it was out of a ''Back to the Future'' movie. It really ended with a curious 60's aesthetics...
