Get the look: Serena Van der Woodsen

Her style has already been featured on this blog before. But for a long time ago I've been looking for check if her style was also easily ''wearable in real life''. Let's admit it: most of the garments featured on Gossip Girl come from awesome well known (and pricey) brands lot's of us can't afford.
So, if we only focus on the ''essence'' of Serena's outfits, we'll see it's pretty easy (and why not cheap?!) to create similar outfits to hers.
Let's go with this outfit: gold Emilio Pucci jacket, Tibi blue dress pants and Brian Atwood shoes. If we go to the basics and don't pay attention to the details, we'll see it's a very easy ''copy-paste'' outfit. Here's the recipe:
- Peacock blue dress pants
- Sparkly blazer
- White T-shirt
- Pair of heels
- Clutch or little handbag
Okay. My blazer is not the same color as hers but let's pretend it is, haha. To achieve her outfit, it would be also cute to do a soft but sparkly makeup, and maybe do a hair updo. I wore mine total straight, just to put some of my personal style to the outfit :)
