Mid October and as long as you haven't heard anything from me (nowhere than Instagram or maybe Twitter), I've been on a total workaholic mood. First work deliveries are just around the corner, I feel like I've got involved on so many activities this year (both Architecture School related or extracurricular) while I still have to manage the blog, my personal portfolio, attend to English classes (woohoo! Hope you can see some improvement around here too) and overcome some daily madness always related to college and classes. In fact, I'm writing this in the middle of a break while eating a pair of toasts and listening to a "motivational-survival" playlist.

Anyway. We're already into Autumn and its reddish colors and wind in the mornings. Although it may not be the best of weathers, if you live on a city like Valencia where the winters aren't cold at all, and it hasn't snowed yet, here I'm showing you a nice idea to dress up to a formal-semi formal event this Autumn!

I've had this asymmetrical, tail floral blouse from Primark for years but as it is a bit thin and semi-transparent I never had the chance of wearing it before. I think it would look good either paired with a more straight shape on the bottom (like a pair of straight jeans or skinny jeans) or a more elaborated, wide shape like this palazzo pants I paired it with. The key is to make you look taller and slimmer by mixing different proportions.

The whole event outfit here is really simple, though. Blouse + palazzo pants. Then a vintage but really simple black clutch. Statement earrings and makeup, wearing a really bright green eyeliner under my lower lashes to make the eyes pop. I promise there's nothing complicated or too time-consuming to it!

What would you wear to an Autumn event?

Getting back to first day of local Fashion Week. It's incredible how it doesn't really matter where you are placed on the world, a Fashion Week is always a Fashion Week, and that means impossible outfits and certain people clamoring around for attention with their looks. Sometimes I've even wondered if there's a kind of non-written code on "What to wear on fashion month". Looks like the stranger the thing you're wearing, the best.

Anyway. That's only my honest opinion. During all the three days full of shows and craziness, I've been accompanied by the nice duo behind Fashionart, the fashion club and platform Made in Valencia which is always keeping up with the local news about style, and designers who are around our city via their fan page. I think we had a really great time talking about streetsyle, shows and fashion in general, as we did watching every show!

We had the chance to see some shows on the front row, and take nice pictures because of that! As the weather has been a bit crazy lately, I decided to go on the classy and simple outfit with this palazzo pants and kimono from local designer Benavente. Finally it didn't rain, thank goodness, because those pants were too long (I have to fix them!) and rain would have ruined all the look. Maybe I went a little bit too much for the japanese samurai outfit but, I think it finally ended looking nice! I think it's the first time I got to wore that kimono on a way I really liked.

Then, simple accessories as my pearl earrings and matching necklace to create a minimalistic but comfortable outfit to spend the whole evening. Alluring but not excessive, don't you think?

Sometimes I just like to go outside and enjoy the amazing weather on Valencia. Have a walk, take some pictures, enjoy window shopping and just got dressed and get myself pampered just for fun. I recommend to go out, get some fresh air and enjoy the streets because every time you go out of home, it would be a total different place.

As my trip to Netherlands was going to be almost 10 day long (in fact, I'm still here enjoying so much architecture that my exhausted body can't hold it...) I wanted to shoot this outfit, following the plain color outfits made with dresses I've been wearing lately. I like yellow because it's super bright, super fun and belongs to this palette of colors which really fit my features and specially hair color and skin. This time, despite my daily makeup I went for a slightly vamp look, with velvet lipstick and darker eyes. I think the combination with the bright colors is unexpected and vibrant, isn't it?

Right after the lace-up sandals, there mesh bootie sandals came to streetstyle, and you can't even imagine how comfy they are. These Lodi ones made my day when I found them on sales! I was looking for them since last year or so, but never found them again...

Still on Netherlands, I can't really wait to show you guys some pictures I've been taking around. This country is so beautiful, so eclectic and peaceful that it doesn't feel even real. Hopefully I'll be on Spain on some days and I'll start telling you about my trip! Have fun meanwhile :)

Already working as hard as possible on my exams. I don't have classes for almost two weeks, so I also try to spend some time on the blog too, because too much study would turn me nuts. As I said on a previous post, I'm also writting a post about architecture & fashion, which will come soon I hope, but by the moment it's still ''under construction''. I also changed a little bit the header and design and profile. Do you like it?

About this outfit... We're having a very weird weather around here lately. It's winter, but it's quite sunny some days, next day is windy but warm, next day as cold as we're on Finland... I chose this outfit for a lunch with my family past weekend, and as it was one of those ''weird weather'' days, I wore this short brown dress  from Studio Classics (another bargain at sales!) with my Zara yeti coat.

The statement necklace was found by my mum downtown. At first sight I didn't liked it very much, I thought it looked too sparkly for me... But when you're wearing it, it really changes, and looks cute!
