500% productivity mode ON. Since I came back to school I've found myself tangled on lots of subjects, both personal, related with those early homework at College or with fashion. Seriously, it's like my veins have been filled with lots of caffeine and I just can't stop doing things and being super productive finishing all this issues at the very beginning. I do not like things to pile because the stress and "I'm on a super hurry" mood are the worst things on the world.

Talking about the busy-mind mood, you might know I've been working on some DIY projects lately and specially working with that Toile de Jouy fabric. With the fabric remaining of the skirt I made a simple zipper clutch with some paillettes matching it (actually, there's two of them. Surprise coming for you guys...). Big enough to carry my phone, purse and sunglasses but comfortable and easy to carry with me.

As the pattern is super romantic and has this baby blue color, I wanted to wear it around the beach on the last days at town with this tail dress which ombre colors go from pink to a light blue. I'm also showing you that it's really easy to look really chic without killer heels. Your feet will thank you for that, seriously!

Hoping you all had an awesome "back to school" month, or if you're about to start your holidays, hope you're having a terrific time!

  1. The clutch is so pretty, Amanda. I also love your necklace. You created a super chic look. It is a good thing to let the feet get some relief from heels occasionally.

  2. Hi - I love the clutch and make them myself also with toile de Jouy fabric. Just a little suggestion a lovely tassel would love great on the zipper part - would just finish it off

    1. I'm glad you liked it! Yes, I've been thinking for a while on adding some details to my clutches as tassels and even tags, but, I don't really know why I haven't done it yet.

Thanks for your comment Jackie! :)
