It feels absolutely unreal to have one year route behind! I can't believe about a year ago I was asked to take part into this crazy, massive, eager project which is Chapelle Magazine. A new, unique fashion magazine concept born in Valencia thanks to a crew of hardworking, dreamy young designers, both professional and amateur fashion photographers, models, bloggers and writers who wanted to spread the word about trends and style away from fast-fashion and world-known regular magazines. Since then, I've been not only writing fashion-centric articles, but also helping and lending my hand in whatever I could do, from managing the website to help in the coordination of some of the events which have been held in the city.

Although being stucked on a total crazy, almost last week full of work and tons of things to do where I've been sleeping less than 5 hours per day and taking painkillers as breakfast (the massive headaches and bone aches are nothing I ever asked for), I was required to help behind the scenes of the #1yearcelebration of Chapelle Magazine, which was exhausting but very regarding. Focused on coming fashion trends for this 2015 Christmas season, we could enjoy a catwalk filled with party and formal outfits, a perfect fit for coming events and celebrations. Lots of white and golden hues, baroque vibes and different textures thanks to E. Jairycovich, Brotocó Atelier, Auba Roig, Ada Cerdá, Javier y Javier, Gustavo Lemos, Cubero-Quesada and Jaime Piquer.

Once again, a night to remember thanks to Astoria Palace Hotel and this incredible crew!

Last Thursday, half past eight in the evening. These last few days have been chaos everywhere, like you couldn't imagine. Ever. But sometimes one must stop for a while, breathe and start setting priorities. Start again from zero and keep going. I feel like I want to do a lot of things, either start or end some issues that must be done as soon as possible, but sometimes it gets really difficult.

Anyway. As some of you might know, I've been friends with Eduardo and Natalia since some circumstances lead us to share our enthusiasm for fashion and design. I can say that Eduardo's designs have travelled a long way since I met him about a year ago, and it's really great to see how far he's already done with his designs as E. Jairycovich. So, when he asked me to occasionally collaborate on his new project as a columnist for Chapelle Magazine, I couldn’t say anything but "of course!”

Thursday evening I had the pleasure of attending the very first event held by Chapelle crew. We met at the lounge bar of Astoria Palace Hotel, one of the main spots downtown where lots of important events (including fashion, like the Younique launch party some years ago) are held. A cozy evening with few guests to celebrate having a new meeting point in Valencia to discuss about fashion and for new designers to share their art now that Valencia Fashion Week has been closed. We spent the evening set with music, friends and a short but very intense fashion show. There was even a local television echoing the party -and I was interviewed, lol-.

Certainly a night to remember! Hope to see all of you soon joining us on next events, and congratulations -again- to Chapelle crew for their great job!

Back to the city. Seriously, since I came back to my classes, everything's been in a total rush, my stress has returned to its regular peaks and I'm already working on almost two zillion tons of new projects, homework and things. I can't believe summer is over... But not everything is bad at all!

Remember that Fashion Weeks are just around the corner if not already ongoing (#NYFW). A reminder that living on the city and the daily routine may not be as boring as it sounds. I am personally missing beach's fresh air since we came back to Valencia, as we've been suffering a terrible heat wave since two or three weeks ago. I couldn't imagine myself coming "back to school" on my shorts and tank tops, but it's so warm out there that it's the only option left. I can't help missing the capes, coats and wearing layers of clothes, but looks like we'll have to wait a little more. As I said, by the moment the only wearable pieces are shorts, tank tops and jumpsuits. As this electric blue I'm wearing on this outfit post. It's made of a really thick and heavy fabric, but as it is loose is really comfortable to wear and matches with the temperature outside. Maybe too dressy but, who doesn't enjoy playing with styles? 

After a crazy week full of exams, events and things, I'm finally here ready again! Today I want to show you some pictures and talk about an event I had the chance to attend last Thursday. Because of last Valencia's Shopping Day&Night, I was invited to Aimé Complementos evening event to celebrate the arrival of Summer and meet their new collection.

It was really exciting for me, not only because it was the first event of this kind I attended to, but also because I had the chance to meet other bloggers and fashionistas on the city (like the bloggers from LivingIn and Glamour Narcotico) and also had the opportunity to know this space downtown.

I really liked the concept of Aimé Complementos: pastel shades on their mannequins and shelves, cute and delicate dresses, a very urban style on their jewelry and accesories (specially Stella Rittwagen satchels and bags!!). My fav thing about the store was its retro and eclectic look, the mix of styles I was able to see that evening with my friend who went with me. Definitely, a new store on my list of ''must come back'' on the city.

Whenever I wear glitter things I always feel like I'm a little lamp or something. I mean, no matter if they're my glitter slippers or even the Karen Millen sparkly bag, which I consider more discreet. I always feel like lots of people stare at me, like saying: ''Oh, look at that girl. She's wearing glitter things. Let's run behind her!!!''

So, this gold sequin dress from Romwe was no exception. But, let's admit it: it's a fun short party dress, perfect for attract all eyes on a disco night, isn't it?

I've always liked bright things, although I don't wear them usually. I find them very inspirational, vibrant and eye-catching.

For this outfit I decided to match the sequins with some color on the heles and clutch, and then the black blazer, which looks like a more ''serious'' garment, so the look stays balanced and I don't resemble a Christmas tree ball.

Fallas, our most internationally known festival are about to come. So, once a year, on the falla association we celebrate a Gala Ball, where everybody celebrates that is time for party, fire on the monuments and music on the streets. I think this is one of my favorite events on the year. It brings me the possibility of wearing long and awesome gowns, and feel once a year like I can walk on the Oscar's red carpet. This time I decided to go for a very ''Old Hollywood'' inspired look, like Rita Hayworth on ''Gilda'' on the 40's.  I found this outfit quite difficult to match, specially because I considered it a ''full'' outfit. I mean any thing I was wearing had some connection with the other items, so everything together creates the 40's look illusion. The makeup is a bit more overdone than usual, with a cat/winged eyeliner but light colors on the eyeshadow.
