Am I quitting blogging? - Black minimal jumpsuit

For those of you who have been reading Something Fashion since this digital adventure started, you might know that summer is for me the best time to blog: I have more time to write, I have more time to take pictures and more time to spend on me in comparison to the school year, which is usually translated into more ideas to share around. As you might know, too, I recently returned home after spending a year as an Erasmus student in the city of Florence (Italy), as well as having started to work again this Summer on topics related to architecture, which is little by little turning into my professional path.

It was not until a few days ago that I realized that I had nothing ready to publish here in Something Fashion. I've been so immersed in trying, still, to place my inner self into my daily life and spend most of my summer days working and doing research on other topics, that, I recently realized  that I had no new ideas to share on the blog beyond describing in a few sentences what I was wearing or what makeup I wore when I shot those pictures in particular. And I thought that it was not worth sharing those, because I was not contributing anything new to the blogosphere, or anything that could ultimately interest all of you. Something Fashion and everything that comes linked to having a blog is marvelous and has meant for me a window to the world since I started this journey. So, sorry for the clickbait, but no: I'm not leaving the blog or my digital life to become a crazy hermit of architecture. However, I do notice that I start lacking ideas and things to talk about around here: maybe because I do not work in fashion professionally and therefore, although I'm passionate about it, I feel that I can not share as much as someone who employs great part of his days designing, spreading the world, managing or writing about fashion. Nor do I intend to dedicate myself professionally to it, because as I said, my profession is elsewhere, although as we all know, fashion and architecture have very strong links. Also, I noticed that little by little, I am overwhelmed by the ephemeral nature of the Internet and social media networks: I no longer have the time, nor the desire, to spend 2 hours a day sharing photos on Instagram or giving likes to others to gain visibility or followers. I do not have those two hours. At most, I might have about 15 minutes every morning on my commute to the office, which I use mainly to clear my mind and finish waking up.

So in conclusion, I ask for a little patience with me and with my brain, which little by little, begins to be flooded with problems related to adulthood, related to undertaking new projects, to maintain the delicate balance between family, friends, education, and work. The outfit that you can see today is a black and very minimal jumpsuit that I wore the day that I presented to the jury my final degree project in Architecture, in which I tried to aim for a new way to spread the word about patrimonial heritage and studying architecture on the Internet and which, despite all the initial enthusiasm, was finally passed with a very average grade that, I must say, discouraged me greatly to keep working on it.

Sh*t happens, but it's OK
