Summer is usually a synonym of holidays. But not this year for me! I've been keeping really, really busy lately as my classes ended pretty late (only a week ago, which is super rare taking into consideration last year I finished classes and exams almost June 10th) and I've been called to work as intern on a local architecture studio!

Everything has been pretty rushed; I had to cancel plans and a trip as I was called only three or four days ago, and I'm not sure I'll even put a feet on the sand this year, but... It's exciting to be finally working on something I'm studying and working hard everyday on. I'm looking forward on giving the best of me and learn as much as possible these coming months, and hopefully, also apply the gained knowledge to fashion and share it on blog posts for you all.

It's fun because I never had the chance to really dress for work, but now I have the opportunity to. It's a total challenge for me, as I love wearing bright colors and somehow risky pieces which wouldn't be suitable for an office work on a pretty formal ambient (not even talking about ground and site visits, which I hope I can take part on soon). Somehow it's fun at the Architecture School, where everybody knows that I like to show my personality with clothes and use fashion as a tool to express myself; even if they all wear black, greys and neutrals. But this is kind of different. So, I hope I can learn as much as I'm able to, not only talking about architecture and paperwork, but also how to behave in a professional environment. (Tips appreciated!)

I was also planning to start a very special project related to fashion and architecture, talking about interior design, catwalks configurations and window dressing among others. These two passions that I have and that share so many aspects. But now that I'm with the internship, I'm not really sure how much time I'll left to that! Wow, feels like I've been studying Architecture all my entire life and not for only two weeks. Since I've entered University, I've started being very, very focused on what I'm doing, so you know: no time to blog, no time to take pictures for the blog (but I've taken TONS for class), and even no time for great outfits since it feels like I always leave home late in the mornings.

But, I must confess it: I absolutely love what I'm doing there in University. I have too many drawings to do, so many pictures to take, and I carry a huge portfolio with me every morning and all day long. But it's great. I've met lots of new people and made friends too, I discover awesome new things everyday, and seems like I'd turn nuts when I go out from there, because all I can see on my mind are boxes, drawing proportions, different measures and lines. You'll see on the pictures below some drawings of windows and stuff I've been doing as homework (I really wanted to show you them!).

So, about the outfit... This photos were taken a couple of days before starting my classes. We went out for dinner, and couldn't resist to wear my Carolina Herrera bracelet. It was an absolute investment (and also the necklace, which you'll see someday maybe...) but its original design, quality and awesome sparkle captured me, and it worths it. Ok, not the most wearable piece to go clubbing with your friends or go to school, but perfect for a special event or a dinner out. As my feet still hurt (I got to the doctor, and he said I have some little trouble with my legs tendons, so both my feet have bad support and they get hurt easily) I decided to wear those comfy wedge leopard sandals, as the colors matched perfectly my Primark dress and the leather tote bag.

You'll know about me very soon, I hope. I'll try to share with you the greatest moments of this new phase my life has entered in and some cute outfits, tips and so on :D Thanks for the nice comments, as always. Sorry for not replying to all, but I always read them!

Take your time and feel the summer

It feels like lately I've been going out at afternoons too much with my mother. We usually get on very well, but we argue too. As my friends and boyfriend are still out of the city to spend the last days of summer holidays, there's no one here to spend time with. Plus it's being too warm to even go out of home (we're suffering from a terrible heat wave) but sometimes it feels like you must go out and breathe (or try to breathe and don't die because of the hot temperatures) fresh air. So, every two days we try to go out of home, almost in the late evening to do some shopping, look after the new season collections and have dinner out (my dad is ''complaining'' too much for this, because as we don't have dinner at home, he's being eating too many sandwiches this week).

That's what we did last Monday. I'm sorry I couldn't upload this post before, but my camera's SD card went nuts and deleted all the pictures I had there. Including these ones. But I finally could fix the problem, and recover them as you can see. Anyway, I have tons of pictures from my stay on the beach house last week to show you, so I'll be posting newer and older pictures this following days. There are lots of new outfits I want you to see!

Okay then. About the evening out... We went to a shopping centre called Aqua and also to the Carolina Herrera corner on El Corte Inglés (which is one of the most-known department stores in Spain) because they're still on sales, and I heard they had some shoes at 60% and 70% off. As I've broken this summer about three pairs of sandals (I'm a very very clumsy girl, I told you) I couldn't resist buying a pair of shoes from CH (and the price was quite good, so...). You'll see them soon! :)

By the moment, you can see my skin has turned darker because of the sun and the beach days. I think that dress' colors and pattern highlighted pretty well my tanned skin, and I really loved the shape, different from the things I've been wearing lately: long, but with a subtle tail effect. Perfect for a club sandwich dinner out!
