It's been a while! This time, I'm teaming up with women's clothing brand FEMMELUXE. They sent some pieces of clothing for me to try on and review in this blog post as well as my main social media accounts, where you may find me easily these days (check at @amandasomethingfashion).

So, first of all, I found very difficult to pick just four styles from their website, not because I didn't like them, but mostly because their styles are very tight overall. I felt like I needed to "adapt" their style ideas and outfits to the silhouette I'm most comfortable at. So, my first task when picking the outfits was to discard some black lace bodysuits and corset dresses which were gorgeous, but not my style. Then I decided it would be a nice idea to highlight some of their sexy-tight best-seller looks and pair them in a way that I could feel comfortable wearing these outfits for a going-out evening or a casual event with some friends.

For my first and last look, I chose the same V-neck dress with balloon sleeves in different colors... And sizes. Shame on me. I absolutely lost track of my shopping cart when I realized I had picked the same style, but it actually helped me to realize once the parcel arrived home what's the real difference between their size UK10 and size UK12. As a woman who usually wears an EU size 40-42 (which is equivalent to an average UK 12 or 14, at most, which are also a US 10-12), I realized I totally messed up with the equivalences. So, as FEMMELUXE dresses do really emphasize a clockwork body shape, I must say these two were quite tricky to put on me, but I'm sure that they would fit amazingly if chosen the right size. Next time I'll make sure I don't mess it up. On the other hand, the design is great and I love the neck shape and draping on the bust, and the fabric is super good quality, not being see-through at all.

For the next outfit, I was very hesitant about picking another dress or change drastically to a pair of trousers. I finally put into the chart another dress, but in a more formal style than the previous ones. This is kind of a cocktail dress, with asymmetric neck and just one long sleeve, in color champagne which is really fitting for a club night or any birthday party. The length is great because it's still easy to walk in (don't you hate dresses and skirts that don't allow you to move properly?) and I think the ruched fabric really enhances the figure. I decided to play a little bit with this one, and pair it with a statement velvet headband and high heels for the pictures just to give a slight idea on how it would fit and could be paired. This dress will be my go-to outfit for many coming events, I'm sure of that!

Last, but not least, I ordered something way more casual although super fun for the day-to-day basis. Anyway, I think I could wear it for a girls' night too! It's a white knit T-shirt with ruffled long sleeves, which I loved for this coming Spring. In this inspiration kind-of-outfit-board, I paired it with grey knit trousers but I still have to try it with jeans. I would wear it with a scarf and a cap, and my favorite sneakers to stroll around. I think this white T-shirt from FEMMELUXE is also a nice idea to wear under vests and cami dresses, as the sleeves put some real interest in the whole outfit and make the whole look a statement.

So, would I order anything again at FEMMELUXE? Absolutely YES! Do I recommend it? Indeed. But, make sure you don't mess it up as I did and make sure you measure yourself before ordering your outfit picks! Happy shopping!

With temperatures higher than +35ºC expected this Summer in the city of Valencia, and it being sunny since the very first hour in the morning when I haven't even taken my bus to the office where I'm currently working at, it feels almost compulsory to pick some light and comfy dresses as my work uniform. I work in a place where there's air conditioning for the most part of the day, but still, I get to wander a lot around exterior and semi-exterior ambiances, where the air is warm and wearing tight clothes doesn't help at all.

So, once again I'm partnering with Shein to show you a couple of dresses which are both workplace and Summer friendly. These two dress ideas are even a great idea to switch outfits day to night, just in case you are running away from work in the evening directly to an after-hour or cocktail with friends, which sounds like an absolutely great idea. My first idea to wear in chronic heat-wave mood is this 60's inspired dress in yellow with stripes on the bottom, which is perfect to wear with a pair of low heeled sandals or ballerinas. It reminds me of Twiggy's carefree style with wide silhouettes above the knee. I paired it with a pair of extra-large metallic earrings and my go-to flip-flops.

On the other hand, there's this dress which I personally didn't have many expectations put on, but which finally succeeded! On the website it is shown on a mannequin which apparently wears a petticoat underneath, so the skirt looks super wide. When it arrived it was folded, but super wrinkled and the fabric looked way too soft it almost felt sheer. But! Once it was ironed and tried on at home, it felt pretty amazing. The only requirement is wearing skin color undergarments, but it isn't as see-through as it seemed at the beginning and, although in Shein's website looks puffy thanks to the petticoat, if you don't wear it underneath it looks great anyway. I would even say it looks better, as it looks more like a light Summer dress than an inspired in 50's pin-up girls.

Today I'm not going to talk about my outfit. As some days, I'm going to talk about my experiences with new brands or online stores (as I did here, here and here). Today's time to talk about DinoDirect.

About a month ago, a Primark store opened in a shopping centre near Valencia, and some local fashion bloggers attended the celebration. As you can imagine I couldn't go, so I was very excited to go there and see if I could find something interesting (and cheap!). To celebrate my end of the year, my mum and I went to have dinner at the shopping mall. I needed a mother/daugther afternoon!

So, I'm going to show you some of the things I bought, and hope to give you some ideas for the sales!

Today I have finally received my order from Oasap.com: this fabulous dandelion blossom ring!

I was very excited from this order to arrive, because it's been the first purchase I have made on an online store with freebies they sent to me for becoming a fashion blogger for their brand. I hope this is only the beginning of a new stage of giveaways for all of you, collaborations with brands and new outfit posts!

Also, today I finally got my final grades. I'm already a BACHELOR GRADUATED and PRE-UNIVERSITY STUDENT! Now I must study very hard for the tests I'm having in 15 days, so I can enter to the Architecture School.

Because of all my today's happiness, I decided to wear the ring from Oasap, because it reminds me a flower, and the spring weather we're having here in Valencia, this flower patterned dress from Festa (don't think on the bad way: I do not only have flower dresses on my wardrobe, but I just love them!) with the Zara red heels which colour matches perfectly with the dress' and a green bag I borrowed from my mum's closet (again! But she has lovely bags and purses I always love to wear, you know...).

So, I will be here soon with more ''How to become...'' posts and tips (I'm already writing one of them) and outfit pictures. But, as always, I have some questions for you...

So, although I'm still working very hard for my exams and my test for University (which will be on June, but classes end on 30th May, so I still have tons of things to do...) I had a few time to spend with my family this weekend. It was my grandfather's birthday, so we all went to have lunch together. Because it was about 30 ºC outside, I chose this colorful and light floral dress I bought some weeks ago, when it was still cold.

I'm also wearing the choker and bracelet I received a week ago from Backstage* store and a pair of old Fornarina pink sandals I had forgotten on my closet. They're pretty comfortable but sometimes you just forget to take out those heels when you're wearing flat shoes 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.

That's the new hat I bought yesterday, in ''Ale-hop'', with my friend Maria. I saw the same at the airport, going to Mallorca a week ago, but I didn't buy it because I couldn't carry it with me on the flight (and my package was going to explode) so, you can't imagine my face when I saw it yesterday. I don't usually wear hats, but these one with crochet, let my without words.

I'm leaving this evening to the beach town again with my family, to spend there the whole week. I want to chill out, get tanned, write and take pictures at the beach. I'll be here on Friday to go to the basketball game :)
