Feel like a Cinderella11:00 AM
Vintage Cinderella. Here we finally go with a 90% vintage and New York made outfit! Do you remember this post about the vintage Ferragamo shoes for 25$? I think they look even more fabulous paired on an outfit, specially if it's with a party or formal dress. Like this one made from lace I bought at Vintage Thrift West (286 Third Ave. between 22&23 St) It was managed by two very nice boys and they had amazing antique things, old brooches, shoes, books and furniture. My paradise!
This outfit reminds me a little bit of Cinderella. Ok, not at all but the lace layers on the dress and how the skirt falls + the Ferragamo heels which are made of a really uncertain color (they look like golden, but with a bit of silver bright color... It's weird) and which have that glow and simplicity on their design than I always like to imagine they came up directly by USPS (?) from a fairy tale!
And finally... The updo I'm wearing is actually very easy to do: just take an elastic band and do a ponytail. Don't stretch the entire ponytail on the last twirl and leave it as a messy bun. Take as much hair pins as you want, and start hooking around all the hair left on the bun, and give it the shape you want (can be used some hairspray or you can also tease the bun to get more volume). Easy peasy lemonsqueezy!
Now you know: looking fabulous for any party or formal occasion is easy and cheap!
